Rotarians from Switzerland have supported a literacy project in Bolgatanga, Ghana for the past three years. By providing solar lamps, Rotarians have enabled people to attend literacy classes at night, when the work day is done. Through a Matching Grant, 300 lamps have been provided to various villages in Ghana.
