National Immunization Days (NIDs)

The following NID's have been scheduled:

One of the most important aspects of polio eradication, for Rotarians, is the opportunity to participate in National Immunization Days (NID's).  These immunization events are established by the national governments in the countries where they are held and the dates are not announced until about two months prior to the NID's.  In India, NID's are held in November and in February each year.  In other areas, they are held when the government schedules.  As information on various NID's becomes available and trips that are being planned, we will post it here, along with complete contact information for the individuals planning the trips. 

Tell us YOUR NID Story

We want to year about your NID experience.  Send an Email to the webmaster at in2dtp@empnet.com with the following attachments:

  1. A Word Document about your NID experience, including all of the following information
    • Your Name
    • Your Rotary Club
    • Your District
    • Your email address
    • Dates of your NID Experience
  2. Photos.  You may attach no more than two photos to your email.  Please do not include any photos in your Word document.
NOTE:  Please do NOT write your story as part of your actual email message or include your photos inside your email.  It takes too much time to convert email messages to web format.  Therefore, your story will not be used.  The only submissions that will be used are those that will be attached to the email in Word Document format.
